our values
What we do
our driving principle
In today's society, the image has a remarkable influence. Impactful documentaries enrich the lives of individuals. They have a unique ability to engage and connect people, transform communities and improve societies.
Independent
We are free to choose who we work with and how we do it. This independence means we always uphold creative, journalistic and personal integrity.
Collaborative
We have seen the greatest impact through collaboration. We create partnerships and value chains that contribute to our impact objectives. You must be the change you wish to see in the world. Change takes time and constant effort. We continue to look for select partners to support our on going work. Get involved.
evolving
We are consciously and constantly evolving – because tomorrow needs new ideas. For us, problems are an opportunity for change.
our goal
Our goal is to achieve a shared vision for a safer and resilient future, keeping wildlife a visible, thriving and culturally valued part of the wild places where people live and work. We try to make the world what we think it should be and consume it as if there is an unlimited supply of resources. We should try to fit in the world: we live in a world of non-renewable resources.
passionate
We are passionate about our commitment to social justice and the protection human rights and in particular of indigenous people, natural ecosystems and endangered wildlife.
Our team
We work with an amazing and ever growing team of successful professionals from all over the world. They contribute their time, talent and services free of charge or work at charitable rates. Founder of By Nature Films Foundation Annegré Bosman is a documentary filmmaker, photojournalist and film producer. Bosman is driven by an insatiable curiosity to explore and tell the stories beneath the surface. After studying journalism, founding film production company Pluk Media and working in the TV broadcasting industry for more than 20 years she wanted to bring new perspectives and deeper public understanding to challenging topics such as Nature and Wildlife Conservation, Climate Change, Human Rights with a special focus on Women's Rights and that of Indigenous Cultures. Bosman travels to the most challenging corners of the world developing her film projects. She chooses risk over limits, not accepting the walls some live with all the time.
